Calcium Taurate is an organic mineral chelate formed by the coordination of calcium ions with taurine at an approximate molar ratio of 2:1 (taurine:calcium). The product is a white to off-white crystalline fine powder, odorless or with a slight characteristic odor, with good flowability.

It exhibits excellent water solubility, outperforming calcium citrate and calcium carbonate in ambient-temperature water dissolution.
